Hi Parents,

In computers this is what we did the week of April 5th, 2010

Kindergarten -  Will continue learning about the weather using the internet.  Then we will finish our Weather Book us MS Word.

1st - We will be starting a Butterfly Lifecycle WebQuest to learn and record information about butterflies.

2nd  - We will be starting an Insect Webquest to learn about the usefullness of insects.  We will write letters in MS Word and create posters in Paint to promote the insects. 

3rd &4th - We are using the Internet to gather information on Authors and States to use in a PowerPoint presentation.

5th - .  We will create a Mystery PowerPoint about a simple machine.

6th -   Will be presenting their Ancient Cultures PowerPoint.

7th - .Is creating a trifold brochure about an periodic element that they have chosen .

8th - Will present their  "Could This Be Your Life?" (Which compares different careers, family situations and education) Each student will critique their classmates presentation with a rubric that evaluates all the required components.
